White House

My office can assist you in requesting a White House tour. Please note that the White House receives a large number of requests for tours and has very limited availability. While my staff will make every effort to assist you in securing a White House tour, we cannot guarantee that space will be available on the date of your visit. The White House receives more than 50,000 – 100,000+ tour requests per week and is only able to accommodate roughly 5% of these requests.

White House tour requests must be placed a minimum of one month in advance and are accepted up to six months in advance. Priority is given to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. White House tour requests are confirmed two to three weeks before the requested date. My office will notify you on the status of your White House Tour request as soon as we hear back from the White House.

Note: Tours are subject to cancellations or time changes. For the most up-to-date information about touring and visiting the White House, call the 24-hour Visitors Office Info Line at 202-456-7041

The White House also encourages you to visit its Visitor Center, open 7:30am-4:00pm daily and located at the southeast corner of 15th and E Streets in the Department of Commerce Building.  The National Park Service at the White House Visitor Center is available to provide your group with a variety of alternative experiences related to the White House including guided walks, talks, films, and lectures.
