We have a responsibility to ensure that our veterans receive the benefits they earned during their service to our nation. I understand the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces and their families.
When I was a young child, my father was sent overseas to serve in Korea. Upon returning home, he came to pick me up at school and I didn’t recognize him. That vivid memory of his sacrifice to serve our nation, leaving behind a wife and young children, is shared by countless veterans and their families every day.
I take very seriously the opportunity to help provide veterans with the medical, educational and career benefits they deserve.
With the ongoing war in Afghanistan and our continued presence in Iraq, it is vital that Americans on the home front recognize and honor the risk and sacrifice of our nation’s service men and women.
My office can assist you with Veterans Administration hospital issues, claims for compensation or pensions, and replacement of medals. We can also provide assistance with military pay and pensions, as well as separation documents and records.
