Tomorrow, February 18, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz will host her third annual “Unsung Heroines Ceremony” in Northeast Philadelphia and North Wales, Montgomery County to thank World War II and Korean War veterans’ wives for their own service and dedication to America. Schwartz is hosting these ceremonies in appreciation of the tremendous sacrifices that military families make while their loved ones are defending our nation.

During the ceremonies, Congresswoman Schwartz will present spouses with a personal Congressional Certificate of Appreciation.  This will be followed by the singing of patriotic songs. The ceremony will conclude with a flag presentation and a closing benediction.

Tables of photos and memorabilia will be on display at each event
