On Saturday, June 19th and 26th, U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz will host a Family Financial Resource Expo to provide families with information about how to ensure financial security for their future. Families will be able to ask questions regarding saving for college and retirement, purchasing a home, affordable child care options, and protection from identity theft.
Enhancing and promoting the well-being of our nation’s families has been one of Schwartz’s top priorities in Congress. Due to the recent economic crisis, families have struggled to maintain and grow their standard of living.
The Family Financial Resource Expos will feature representatives from federal and state agencies, as well as non-profit organizations that can provide one-on-one information and resources regarding decisions about a family’s economic well-being.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Schwartz’s Philadelphia (215-335-3355) or Montgomery County Office (215-517-6572).
