On Friday, February 19th, U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz will host a Small Business Resource Seminar to listen to the concerns of small business owners and discuss her work in Congress on behalf of small businesses. Representatives from the Small Business Administration and the Internal Revenue Service will offer information on small business financing and procurement, as well as tax and other provisions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that provide critical relief to small businesses.
As Congress works on legislation aimed at helping small businesses, including providing possible tax credits for new hires and working to expand small business loans, this seminar offers small business owners an opportunity to share their views and thoughts with Congresswoman Schwartz.
“Small businesses are vital contributors to our economy, creating jobs, invigorating neighborhoods and commercial corridors, advancing innovation, and expanding opportunities for Americans across our nation, and I am proud to be a champion on their behalf,” said U.S. Rep. Schwartz in announcing this seminar.
Schwartz is a strong proponent of America’s small businesses. In these tough economic times, she is working actively in Congress to ensure that small businesses are able to access the tax credits, incentives, and resources they need to be successful.
For questions or to RSVP, please contact Rep. Schwartz’s district offices at either 215-517-6572 or 215-335-3355.
