This Sunday, May 4th, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz will announce the winner of the annual 13th District Congressional Art Competition. 80 Philadelphia and Montgomery County high students competed locally in the competition sponsored by Congresswoman Schwartz. Nationally, thousands of U.S. high school students compete each year in this prestigious contest.

During Sunday’s reception and art showcase, Schwartz will announce the first prize winner, as well as several honorable mentions. The first prize winner’s artwork will be on display in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year along with artwork from winners in congressional districts from across America.
