Philadelphia, PA – Earlier today, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz announced that on Sunday, September 21st she will host an information session for area students and families on America’s military academies, West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
This event, to take place at the Defense Supply Center in Northeast Philadelphia, will offer area students and families the opportunity to meet directly with representatives of the service academies and get answers to frequently asked questions such as, “What’s it like to attend a military academy?”; “How do I apply?”; and “What qualifications do I need to have to be considered?”
Staff from Congresswoman Schwartz’s district office will also be available to answer questions concerning the Congressional nomination process to military academies.
