What: This Friday, October 2, 2009, U.S. Rep. Schwartz will be joined by
leading historic preservation advocates and business leaders at a press conference to announce an effort to strengthen the Historic Tax Credit. These changes will create substantial new economic and cultural benefits for Pennsylvania and the nation. Schwartz’s legislation will ultimately make the historic tax credit a more efficient and effective strategy for economic development and giving tax credit supporters the necessary tools to save the nation’s older and historic buildings for future generations.
