Washington, D.C. – Nonprofit organizations have been especially impacted by the downturned economy. For many nonprofits, community needs have never been higher, while at the same time donations and support have decreased. To learn more about funds available via the landmark American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, as well as other grant opportunities, hundreds of area nonprofit leaders and representatives of public agencies and elected officials are expected to attend two grant seminars hosted by U.S. Rep. Schwartz (PA-13). The seminars are free and open to the public.
