Washington, D.C. - U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz released the following statement today concerning the situation in Gaza.

"Israel's response to the relentless rocket attacks from Hamas is well within it's right as a sovereign nation to protect the safety and security of it's nation and her citizens. The United States will continue to stand with our friend and ally, Israel, and will work together towards a long term resolution to this ongoing conflict."
